The Bororen State School Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association is a group of dedicated parents and staff who are involved in a variety of activities to raise funds to support the teachers and administration staff in providing the best experience for our children at Bororen.

At Bororen State School our P&C committee meet once per month in the Administration Office. Please check our newsletter, website and Facebook page for the date.

We invite all parents and members of the wider Bororen community to come along and share your ideas about how to make our school better!

As partners in the education process, parents/caregivers have a right and a responsibility to play an active role in the education of their children. The P&C enables parents and citizens to meet together to determine the needs and aspirations of the school community.

P&C meetings provide a forum for parents to learn about the activities at the school, raise concerns and have input into the decisions affecting their children.

There are many opportunities for parents who would like to be involved in the school community. Some of these include helping at Meal Deal Thursdays, manning our stalls (Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Christmas) and our end of year Christmas Tree night.

To join the Bororen State School P&C Association please complete a membership form.

To contact us, please call the school or via the P&C Facebook page.

We also encourage you to like and follow our Facebook page. The Facebook page is utilised to assist with communication and networking among parents and carers. It is hoped this forum will provide an additional method of communicating events and news as well as discussion.
