Little Joeys Playgroup

Bororen State School is proud to offer Little Joeys Playgroup, a welcoming and engaging space for young children and their families to connect, learn, and play.

A Fun Start to Learning

Little Joeys provides a safe and friendly environment where children can explore, create, and develop important early learning skills through play. Each session includes a variety of activities designed to support:

  • Early language and communication skills

  • Social interaction and confidence

  • Fine and gross motor development

  • Creativity through play-based learning

From craft and sensory play to story time and outdoor activities, there is always something fun and engaging for our little learners.

Supporting a Smooth Transition to School

Little Joeys helps children become familiar with school-like environments, routines, and group learning experiences, supporting a confident and positive transition into Prep—wherever they choose to attend.

Building Connections

Playgroup is not just for children—it’s also a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to connect with others in the community. Families can share experiences, build friendships, and feel supported in their child’s early years.

Join Us!

We welcome all local families with young children to come along and be part of our Little Joeys Playgroup. It’s a great way to introduce your child to learning in a fun, relaxed, and supportive setting.

There is no cost for this service and it is facilitated by one of our highly trained staff. Held every Thursday 9am-10.30am

We look forward to welcoming you and your little joeys!
